A member of Troop 711, Ludwig made phonics phones for Cozine Elementary School and Wolfe Elementary School for his Eagle project.

He is a member of his school’s track and wrestling teams, and he enjoys working.

Ludwig is the son of Stephen and Diana Ludwig of North Las Vegas.

Justin Kunz has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

He collected shoes for Operation School Bell for his Eagle project.

He is treasurer for the National Honor Society at his school, and he enjoys fixing cars and computers in his spare time.

Kunz is the son of Kendall and Nancy Kunz of Las Vegas.

Kuvall Patel has achieved Eagle Scout status in the Boy Scouts of America.

Patel is the son of Janmejay and Bina Patel of Las Vegas.

Mitch Phillips has graduated from Air Force basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

A 2011 graduate of Green Valley High School, Phillips is the son of Stephen and Lynn Phillips of Henderson.

Aron Wing has graduated from Air Force basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

A 2004 graduate of Centennial High School, he earned a bachelor’s degree from UNLV in 2011.

Wing is the son of Stephan and Theresa Wing of Las Vegas.

Griffin Whiting has graduated from Air Force basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.

Whiting earned distinction as an honor graduate.

Whiting is the son of Leigh Whiting of Las Vegas and Melissa Harrington of San Francisco.

Kristen Hsu of Henderson was named to the dean’s list at Tufts University in Medford, Mass., for the spring 2013 semester.
