Eastbound 215 Beltway reopens after 3-car crash in North Las Vegas

The eastbound lanes of the 215 Beltway have reopened after a woman suspected of DUI drove the wrong way on the freeway in North Las Vegas and crashed into two vehicles.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. east of Aliante Parkway, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

A blue hatchback was traveling east on the Beltway when it crossed into the westbound lanes and crashed into an SUV and four-door vehicle, NHP trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said. That part of the Beltway does not have a median.

The hatchback driver and one other person were taken to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, Stuenkel said. It is unclear which car the second person was in.
