Fire damages home in east Las Vegas

A house fire caused $100,000 worth of damage Sunday night near Charleston and Lamb boulevards, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

Fire officials received reports of a structure fire at 4665 E. Colorado Ave. about 9:50 p.m.

Firefighters located the fire in the attic and cut holes in the roof to let out the smoke and heat.

The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes. One adult was displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
