Services have been announced for E. Parry Thomas, the Las Vegas banker who helped transform the Las Vegas casino industry.

Thomas, 95, died Friday at his horse ranch in Hailey, Idaho.

The memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at Encore. The room is to be determined.

The family requests that donations be made to the UNLV Foundation for the E. Parry Thomas Scholarship.
