A 56-year-old Henderson man was killed Tuesday night after he was struck by a car while crossing Boulder Highway.
Henderson police said the man, whose name will be released by the county coroner's office, was hit by a 2007 Chevrolet sedan about 11 p.m. near Major Avenue. The man died at the scene.
The driver of the sedan, Chandra Gibson, 35, had a green light at the intersection. Police didn't know if the man was in a crosswalk.
Gibson submitted to blood tests and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Speed was also not a factor, police said.
There have been 14 traffic deaths in Henderson this year.
