Hillary Clinton to rally supporters in Las Vegas Thursday

Hillary Clinton plans to rally supporters in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The Democratic presidential candidate is returning to Nevada the week after getting the party’s nomination for president at the convention in Philadelphia.

Clinton’s visit is focused on her plan for economic growth and jobs creation.

The rally will be at the IBEW Local 357 Hall, 808 N. Lamb Blvd. Doors open to the public at 10:15 a.m.

Long lines are expected and members of the public who didn’t RSVP are encouraged to arrive early.

Clinton is facing Republican nominee Donald Trump. Trump hasn’t visited Nevada for public events since the GOP convention, though his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, visited Reno and Carson City earlier this week.
