A house fire in the northeast valley has displaced six senior citizen occupants, the North Las Vegas Fire Department said.
Crews responded around 6:30 p.m. to a house fire at 509 Lance Ave. The fire began in a backyard shed and extended to the house, the department posted on Twitter. The fire was put out by 7:40 p.m. and the cost of damages has not been estimated.
The fire’s cause is under investigation. Southern Nevada Red Cross is assisting the displaced occupants.
