Las Vegas-to-London flight declares emergency after passenger falls ill

The Daily Mail website was reporting an emergency aboard a British Airways flight that left Las Vegas Sunday night and was headed to London Heathrow Airport Monday.

The website said the emergency was declared after a passenger had fallen ill as the jet was over Scotland.

Flight BA274, a Boeing 747, left McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas at 9:40 p.m. Sunday.

After the emergency was declared the flight proceeded to Heathrow, and a British Airways spokesperson said a priority landing was requested.

The British Airways website shows that the flight arrived at 3:02 p.m. London time on Monday.
