Man crashes vehicle into KFC sign
A man involved in a domestic violence call crashed his vehicle into a KFC sign in northeast Las Vegas Sunday night.
Las Vegas police responded about 7:30 p.m. to several reports from neighbors who said a man was beating a woman outside of their residence. The man fled in a car and a pursuit began.
Police caught up to the man after he ran his car into a KFC sign near North Nellis and East Lake Mead boulevards, Lt. Dave Valenta said. The man tried to leave on foot and was apprehended behind a nearby Dollar General. Police believe the man was driving under the influence.
The woman was unconscious when police arrived and was transported to University Medical Center, Valenta said. Her condition is unknown.
