Man in critical condition after crashing moped into bus

A man was in critical condition Saturday night after crashing his moped into a bus in central Las Vegas Valley.
At 5:35 p.m., Las Vegas police responded to a call from the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Lindell Road, where an off-duty doctor was attending to a man in his 40s. He had fallen beneath the bus.
The man was transported to University Medical Center, where he was listed in “extremely critical” condition, Metro Lt. Ken Romane said.
The intersection was shut down. All lanes were reopened as of 9 p.m.
