Man suffers life-threatening wounds in central valley stabbing

A man was stabbed at a central valley apartment complex and hospitalized with life-threatening wounds Wednesday afternoon, according to Las Vegas police.

Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 5000 block of Jeffreys Street, near the intersection of Tropicana and Eastern avenues, at 3:41 p.m.

The man had apparent stab wounds and was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Metro said the investigation is ongoing.
