Man who died in Monday shooting identified

The man who died after being shot Monday night in the central valley has been identified.
Jason Puckett, 28, was found shot in a parking lot near Washington Avenue and Bruce Street around 7:30 p.m. Monday. He later died at University Medical Center.
Police said Puckett was buying drugs from Jonathan Perez, the 22-year-old man accused of shooting him. Perez fled the scene but was arrested on Tuesday.
The Clark County coroner’s office said Puckett died from multiple gunshot wounds.
