Man with Alzheimer’s missing near Chinatown

Metro is looking for a man with early stage Alzheimer's disease who went missing Friday afternoon.

William Char, 84, was last seen in the area of Arville Street and Twain Avenue, south of Spring Mountain Road and the Chinatown area. He was wearing a red sweater and brown pants, and may be in need of medical attention.

Char is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 205 pounds. He has brown hair and black eyes

Las Vegas police are asking all hospitals to check their registries for his name or any John Does who match his description. Anyone with information about Char's location is asked to call Metro at 702-828-3111.
