Metro’s Search and Rescue team rescued an injured hiker Thursday at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
A group of hikers called police shortly before 10 a.m. from near the Calico Hills Trail, Las Vegas police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said. A member of their group had fallen.
Rescuers saved the man, who was conscious and suffering a leg injury, and handed him over to a medical crew. He was taken to an area hospital.
