Ocean Spray worker killed in fall

A Las Vegas man fell to his death at the Ocean Spray facility in Henderson on Saturday.

First responders were dispatched to the fruit juice distribution center about 10:30 a.m., according to Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards.

Harry Lentz, 53, fell 30-40 feet from the roof through a skylight. Richards said Lentz was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died.

Nevada’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration office is investigating the incident.

Ocean Spray representatives released few details in an email statement: “Ocean Spray has contacted the family and will assist the family in any way possible. We are unable to confirm any additional details at this time, given that the investigation is ongoing and out of respect for the privacy of Ocean Spray’s employees and their families.”
