Driver charged after hitting southeast valley bicyclist

A 50-year-old bicyclist was in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in the southeast valley Monday morning, according to Las Vegas police. Officers responded at 5:41 a.m. to the intersection of Boulder Highway and South Lamb Boulevard where Andrew Diaz was riding a bike north on Boulder Highway, near the east curb, Metro wrote in a release Monday night.
