Pedestrian struck near Buffalo and Gowan
A 16-year-old Las Vegas girl is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle as she crossed Buffalo Drive near Gowan Road on Friday afternoon, according to Las Vegas police.
She was walking outside a crosswalk about 2:30 p.m. when she was hit by a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by Tasha McKinney, 32, of Las Vegas. The car was traveling north. The girl was taken to University Medical Center.
Traffic was diverted in this area during the investigation.
