Police ID man arrested in Saturday officer-involved shooting

North Las Vegas police on Sunday identified the man who was wounded during a Saturday morning officer-involved shooting.

Clarence Lasale Rose Jr. was shot by police following a short foot pursuit after an armed convenience-store robbery at Ann Road and Clayton Street Saturday about 3:30 a.m., police said.

Rose was moved from University Medical Center to the City of Las Vegas Detention Center Saturday night. He is facing multiple burglary and robbery charges including robbery with a deadly weapon, police said.

He is being held on $140,000 bail.

Two others, still unidentified by police Sunday evening, were also involved in the robbery.

This is the third officer-involved shooting in North Las Vegas this year.
