At about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Metro detectives discovered a Hispanic man in his 40s who had been shot several times inside an apartment in the Sunrise Vista Apartments, 3801 E. Charleston Blvd., near Pecos Road, according to a police spokesman.
The man was taken to UMC where he underwent surgery for approximately an hour before being pronounced dead at 6 p.m., the police spokesman said.
Police are looking for a suspect described as black, 30, with a slender build and wearing dark clothing.
