Suspect charged in Las Vegas shooting death in November

A woman is in custody and has been charged in connection to the slaying of a man found in a vacant house in November.

Michelle Horn, 37, was identified by detectives as a suspect in the killing of 35-year-old Alexander George Nunez, whose city of residence could not be determined by the Clark County coroner.

Horn was located by Metro detectives and taken into custody without incident near Flamingo Road and Arville Street on Wednesday, according to a release from Metro. She was taken to the Clark County Detention Center and faces one count of open murder and one count of robbery with a deadly weapon, according to the release.

Nunez was found dead inside a residence in the 4400 block of Via San Rafael on Nov. 21 and the killing may have been drug-related, police said.

Information they received indicated that Nunez may have been killed two to three days prior. The coroner determined he died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said.

Through an investigation, police determined the empty house was used by "many different people" and that an argument broke out before the shooting. There were several people present.
