Teen killed in northwest valley crash identified

A 17-year-old male passenger who died in a car crash in the northwest valley Saturday was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as Beau Green.

Las Vegas police said Green was a passenger in a 1991 Nissan about 4 a.m. that went out of control and struck a palm tree in the median of Centennial Center Boulevard south of Azure Drive.

Police said the car that crashed was driven by Zackery Richardson, 18. He was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police said the car slid sideways and struck palm trees as it crossed over the road's raised median.

Green died at the scene.
