Woman who died in suspected murder-suicide ID’d
One of two people who died in what Metro described as a murder-suicide was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Thursday.
The bodies of Paula Russell, 61, and a man Las Vegas police said was her husband were found Wednesday afternoon in the 6200 block of Elton Avenue, near the intersection of Jones Boulevard and U.S. Highway 95.
Police said Russell used a gun to shoot her husband and then turned the weapon on herself.
Paula Russell’s official cause of death was not released by the coroner on Thursday.
