Nevada inmate, 21, dies while hospitalized

A 21-year-old Nevada inmate died Monday of what Nevada Department of Corrections officials called a chronic medical condition.
Lawrence Howard, a Northern Nevada Correctional Center inmate, had been hospitalized at the Carson Tahoe Hospital since July.
Howard was serving multiple consecutive 2-to-5 year sentences stemming from a robbery. He had been in prison since April of 2013.
