Several cows died after a semi-tractor trailer carrying cattle drove off the shoulder of Interstate 15 southbound near Valley of Fire in the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the truck traveled 25 feet off the roadway and overturned around 12:30 a.m.
The driver was not injured, but NHP estimated between five and seven cattle died in the accident.

A crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in the southwest valley on Saturday turned deadly for one, Nevada Highway Patrol said in an email.
The motorcyclist was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed on Washington Avenue near Rancho Drive just after 8 p.m. when he hit a car, police said.
