Below-average temps expected in Las Vegas Valley this week

Skies will be mostly sunny and temperatures will be below normal in the Las Vegas Valley this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday reached a high of 76 degrees, 13 degrees below normal, said meteorologist Clay Morgan.

Tuesday will have a high near 79 degrees with southwest winds between 10 and 15 mph, the weather service said.

Wednesday and Thursday should also reach about 79 degrees, Morgan said. Friday will reach 81 degrees. Lights winds of about 10 mph are forecast for the week.
