Cloudy, cooler temperatures in store for Las Vegas Valley

Next week’s forecast highs are expected to reach 70 degrees by midweek, according to the National Weather Service.

The 65-degree high Sunday will be paired with partly cloudy skies and fairly calm breezes. Gusty 20 to 30 mph winds are expected to return Monday and fan out into Tuesday.

The valley should begin warming up Tuesday and Wednesday with forecast highs in the upper 60s. High temperatures for the week will top out Thursday at 70 degrees, meteorologist Barry Pierce said.

The weather service said the Las Vegas valley should see a “mix of clouds in and out all week.”
