High temps could be quenched by Sunday night

High temperatures through the rest of the week could be quenched by remnants of Hurricane Linda come Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday's expected high of 105 degrees should be mirrored Friday, with a slight dip to about 103 degrees Saturday, the weather service said.

But tropical moisture from Linda could drop Las Vegas back into the mid- to low 90s Sunday, with the forecast calling for a high of 94 degrees and a 33 percent chance of rain in the afternoon.
