Higher temperatures returning to Vegas Valley

Go outdoors for some fun Thursday before temperatures climb back to more normal and bring uncomfortably hot conditions over the weekend.

Thursday's forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 100 degrees, 5 degrees below normal, said Chris Outler, meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

The warmup starts Friday when the weather service projects a high of 104 degrees, Outler said. The weekend should see similar temperatures.

No precipitation is forecast for Thursday. However, it might get breezy with winds up to 20 mph, Outler said.
