Las Vegas to get warm weekend before cold moves in
The Las Vegas Valley will stay warm through the weekend before temperatures drop at the start of next week.
Friday should reach 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Light winds are expected Friday and Saturday.
Saturday’s forecast high is 71 degrees, and Sunday’s is 70, well above the average temperature of 59 degrees for early December.
The valley should see winds between 10 and 20 mph on Sunday as a cold front moves in, the weather service said. Monday’s forecast high will drop down to 59 degrees and couple with winds between 15 and 25 mph.
Lows through Sunday will hover near 50 degrees, before dipping to 46 degrees on Monday.
