Las Vegas Valley could see more rain this week

Another storm system bringing chances of rain will roll into the valley this week, the National Weather Service said.

Wednesday should have a high of 75 degrees, but it also has a 30 percent chance of rain in the late afternoon and evening. Winds between 10 and 20 mph with gusts near 25 mph should be expected.

Thursday cools down slightly with a 69 degree high and 50 percent chance of rain. The valley can expect scattered showers much like Monday’s.

This week’s temperatures are below normal with the average high being 82 degrees. Things start to return to normal Friday with an 80-degree high, according to the weather service.

The Spring Mountains saw some snow above 7,500 feet Monday and should see more snow with this week’s storm.
