Rain possible in Las Vegas Valley over next 2 days

Mother Nature might bring some rain into the Las Vegas Valley Tuesday, and according to the National Weather Service, it's a pretty big "might."

There's a 15 percent chance for isolated thunderstorms across the valley, but the mountains have a better chance for that precipitation, meteorologist Caleb Steele said.

"There's a fairly limited chance," he said for rain in the valley.

The slight chance for rain will be paired with a 103-degree high and low of 82.

The moisture is moving slowly to work its way out, Steele said. Wednesday poses a better day for rain in Las Vegas with a 25 percent likelihood.

Things could change, though. It's something they'll have to take day by day to really be confident on just where exactly the rain will fall, Steele said.

Wednesday's temperatures should only reach 100 degrees with a low of 82.
