Triple-digit temps returning to Las Vegas Valley

Summer in Las Vegas is back to normal.

Thanks to a break from the monsoon pattern, the sun is shining and temperatures are back to the normal triple-digit range for this time of year, National Weather Service meteorologist John Adair said Monday.

It‘s going to be a "nice, dry day," Adair said.

The high temperature is 105 degrees, just one degree above the average.

By Saturday, temperatures will drop down to the mid 90s, Adair said. There‘s a 20-percent chance of thunderstorms in the valley through the weekend.

Humidity today will bottom out at 7 pecent, so enjoy the "dry heat" before it is five times higher, 35 percent, Saturday night, Adair said.
