Vegas temperatures to start climbing Sunday

You might want to take advantage of Saturday’s below-average temperatures to go outdoors because temperatures will begin to climb Sunday.

You also can wash your cars, as the National Weather Service predicts no rain.

Temperatures are only set to reach 95 degrees Saturday, which is 10 degrees below normal for this time of year, meteorologist Chad Shafer said.

There’s also practically no chance of rain in the next couple of days, Shafer said, noting that it’s not only dry around the Las Vegas Valley but also the surrounding regions.

Sunday forecast of 101 degrees will be the beginning of an upward trend toward normal, Shafer said. Monday and Tuesday should reach 103 degrees and Wednesday is expected to reach 104.
