Las Vegas Valley to see warmer temps in 2nd full week of new year

The Las Vegas Valley is heading into a week of warm and sunny days, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday’s high was 83 degrees, and Sunday is expected to reach 90 degrees, meteorologist Andy Gorelow said.

The valley can expect a fairly breezy Sunday, Gorelow said, as winds around 20 to 30 mph are expected.

Monday should see a high of 87 degrees, and the rest of the week’s highs will stay in the low- to mid-80s, the weather service said.

No rain is expected next week.
