Warmer trend ahead for the Las Vegas Valley

The Las Vegas Valley is heading into a warmer weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

The valley saw a high of 56 degrees Friday. Temperatures will rise about 5 to 7 degrees above average starting with a 63-degree high Saturday. Sunday’s forecast high is 66 degrees, meteorologist Barry Pierce said.

Highs for the first half of next week are all forecast in the mid-60s.

No rain is expected over the weekend into next week though, by the end of next week the valley may have a chance for rain, Pierce said.
