Ernest Hall ran for 121 yards on 20 carries to lead a punishing ground game that accumulated 270 yards as Del Sol (2-0) routed Chaparral, 28-0. Senior fullback Jon Kirschbaum added 71 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
The Cowboys (0-2) were limited to 130 total yards, 34 on the ground, and lost two fumbles.
