Outlook: The building process continues for the Cougars who are hoping to speed-learn their way to success.

“Twenty-six young and inexperienced players have reported for baseball at Laughlin,” Petrik said. “Our kids are going to have to learn quick over the Cougar Classic (season opening) weekend as we open league play the second week of the season.

“It will be a fun year watching this group learn the game and grow as players.”
