Outlook: The Skyhawks lost some key players to graduation, but return a veteran group, including six starters.

Skelly (5-1, 2.35 ERA) and Pindel (6-0, 2.33 ERA) should anchor the pitching staff this season. Grafiada (.376, 23 RBIs), Ballard (.370, 20 RBIs), Camburn (.343, 21 RBIs) and Cortez (.333, 15 RBIs) all are coming off productive offensive seasons.

“There is a really good vibe with this group,” Whitaker said. “I love my team. We are ready to compete.”
