Dylan San Nicolas had an RBI single in the top of the eighth inning Saturday, and Jordan Bohnet struck out two to lock down the save in Liberty baseball’s 5-4, eight-inning road win against Silverado.
James Delaney pinch hit in the seventh inning with Sierra Vista down a run, and hit a two-out, two-run double to help the Mountain Lions’ baseball team score three in the seventh and out-slug host Durango, 17-16 on Wednesday.

Cimarron-Memorial’s baseball team sent 11 batters to the plate and scored six runs in the second inning Tuesday en route to a 15-2 win over Faith Lutheran in its five-inning Northwest League opener.
Jacob Godman scored the go-ahead run on Wesley Cosby’s squeeze bunt in the bottom of the sixth Tuesday to help the Palo Verde baseball team edge visiting Shadow Ridge, 6-5.
A.J. Amelburu went 3-for-4 to help the Green Valley Elite get a 7-2 victory over the Las Vegas Grizzlies in an elimination game in the Connie Mack state baseball tournament at the College of Southern Nevada.

Tanner Wright drove in four runs, and Centennial rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat visiting Bishop Gorman 8-4 for the Division I Sunset Region baseball title and a berth in the state tournament.
The Wolves used a balanced attack on offense, a handful of defensive gems and the arm of sophomore C.J. Dornak to post a 6-0 victory over visiting Green Valley to claim the Division I Sunrise Region championship. The win locked up a berth in the state tournament, which begins on Thursday at Bishop Manogue.
Boulder City’s Peyton Koopman didn’t allow a hit over six shutout innings and struck out 12 on Saturday as the Eagles defeated Sierra Vista 5-1 in the Division I-A Southern Region final.
