ROUNDUP: Burrola’s bat powers Cougars past Skyhawks

Julian Burrola was 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and three RBIs Thursday to help Coronado’s baseball team to a 9-4 win over visiting Silverado.
Tyler Brown went 3-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI, and Michael Pollex was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles for the Cougars.
Dillon Fahr added a solo home run, and Cody Howard was 2-for-4 with a double for Coronado.
Michael Meyers went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored for the Skyhawks.
Arbor View 19, Faith Lutheran 6 — At Arbor View, Ryan Chen belted a grand slam and scored four runs to help the Aggies rout the Crusaders in six innings.
Nate Stepna went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs, and P.J. Gonzalez supplied a triple and four RBIs for Arbor View, which got a triple and two RBIs from Evan McMahan.
Zack Skipper had a two-run double for Faith Lutheran.
Centennial 12, Cheyenne 1 — At Centennial, Will Loucks went 1-for-2 with a grand slam as the Bulldogs routed the Desert Shields in five innings.
Bryan Bonnell was 1-for-1 with a home run and three runs scored for Centennial, and pitchers Stevie Reilly and Michael Rosenkrantz combined on a one-hitter.
Palo Verde 13, Legacy 12 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers rallied for five runs in the bottom of the sixth to top the Longhorns.
Chris Hopballe was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs, and Alex Blutman hit two triples, including a key two-run triple in the sixth for Palo Verde, which trailed 11-8 going into the bottom of the sixth.
Andrew Dalaimo added a double and a triple for the Panthers.
Nick Martinez went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and three RBIs for Legacy.
Eldorado 5, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Eldorado, Johnny Wade tossed a seven-hitter and struck out nine, and went 2-for-3 with a run scored as the Sundevils held off the Miners.
Mike Carsten was 3-for-3, and Lucio Arreola went 2-for-4 with a run for Eldorado.
Daniel Guardado was 2-for-3 with a double and a run, and Nick Snyder went 2-for-2 for Sunrise Mountain.
Shadow Ridge 13, Mojave 7 — At Mojave, Josh Roelofs went 1-for-2 with a home run and four RBIs as the Mustangs downed the Rattlers.
Mike Wager went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs for Shadow Ridge.
Anthony Walker was 1-for-2 with three runs scored for Mojave.
Valley 10, Canyon Springs 2 — At Valley, Omar Gonzalez went 2-for-2 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs scored as the Vikings downed the Pioneers.
Rayce Reyos went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Valley, which led 8-0 after two innings.
Basic 11, Del Sol 0 — At Basic, Dean Gettman pitched a five-inning four-hitter with four strikeouts and went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs and four RBIs as the Wolves blanked the Dragons.
Kyle Silva was 2-for-3 with a double and a triple for Basic. Ryan Blatnik, Josh Gray and Isaac Perez each went 2-for-3 for the Wolves, who led 6-0 after the first inning.
Green Valley 24, Tech 8 — At Tech, Keaton Smith went 4-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Gators past the Roadrunners.
Micheal Hillcoat went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, and Alec Hutt hit two doubles with two RBIs for Green Valley.
Edgar Hernandez was 2-for-2 with an RBI for Tech.
Rancho 26, Chaparral 2 — At Chaparral, Keifer McLendon went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs and four RBIs as the Rams blitzed the Cowboys in five innings.
Cody Suarez was 3-for-3 with a double, three runs and four RBIs for Rancho.
Josh Verdugo tossed a one-hitter, striking out six, and added a pair of doubles for the Rams.
Freddy Briones had Chaparral’s lone hit and an RBI.
Bishop Gorman 11, Oaks Christian (Calif.) 9 — At Gorman, Joey Gallo went 3-for-3 with a home run, a triple and four RBIs, and the Gaels overcame a 4-0 first-inning deficit to hold off the Lions in the Bishop Gorman Easter Classic.
Mike Blasko was 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs for Gorman. Justin Jones went 2-for-3 with a double, and Johnny Sewald was 2-for-4 for Gorman.
Durango 11, Northridge (Colo.) 5 — At Durango, Brett Neighbors went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI to help the Trailblazers rally from a 3-0 deficit to down Northridge.
Anthony Martine was 3-for-3 with two RBIs for Durango.
Wooster 6-11, Las Vegas 5-5 — At Las Vegas High, Sam Klipperstein belted three homers on the day to help the Colts sweep the Wildcats.
In the opener, Klipperstein had two hits, including a home run. He followed it up with a two-homer game in the nightcap. Marcus Lorang added a home run and a single in the second game for Wooster.
Daniel Ouzts had a double and a single in each game, adding two RBIs in the nightcap for Las Vegas.
J.D. Garcia supplied two singles in the opener for the Wildcats.
Mountain View 17-16, Tonopah 2-5 — At Mountain View, Josh Killam went a combined 6-for-6 with three doubles, a triple and 10 RBIs as the Saints swept a pair of five-inning games from the Muckers.
In the opener, Killam went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, and teammate Ian Locke tossed a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts.
Killam was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and seven RBIs in the nightcap. Locke went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for the Saints.
Tonopah’s Jason Carman was 2-for-3 in the second game.
