ROUNDUP: Coombs’ no-no helps Durango cruise past Clark

Cameron Coombs tossed a five-inning no-hitter with one walk and 10 strikeouts Monday to lead Durango’s baseball team to an 11-1 home win over Clark.
Coombs, who also went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, allowed an unearned run in the fourth inning.
Matt Grisnik was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI for the Trailblazers, who scored six runs in the second inning and five more in the fourth.
Centennial 2, Cheyenne 1 — At Centennial, Keith Krueger’s two-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning plated pinch-runner Cody Milford with the winning run as the Bulldogs nipped the Desert Shields.
Adrian Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Centennial, and Chapman Schmidt was 2-for-2.
Centennial’s Casey Moses tossed a six-hitter, walking one and striking out 11.
Shadow Ridge 19, Mojave 6 — At Mojave, Mike Wager and Josh Roelofs each went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, with Wager adding three RBIs, and the Mustangs used a nine-run first inning to blitz the Rattlers.
Logan Hold, Troy Williams and Mitchell Shields added two hits apiece, and Gil Colon and Daniel Pedrego each went 1-for-1 with two RBIs for the Mustangs.
Francisco Colin was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs for Mojave, which got two hits apiece from Eric Mora and Andrew Gradwahl.
Palo Verde 14, Legacy 4 — At Palo Verde, Cody Schuster went 4-for-4 with a home run, a double and six RBIs to lead the Panthers past the Longhorns in five innings.
Grayson Weber was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and teammate Matt Dyson went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored for Palo Verde.
Pierce Skinner was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Legacy.
Desert Oasis 12, Bonanza 3 — At Desert Oasis, Cody Schmidt went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs as the Diamondbacks topped the Bengals.
Joel Lewis was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Jordan Compehos added a solo home run for Desert Oasis.
Zane Killebrew tossed a six-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts for the Diamondbacks.
Pahrump Valley 10, Western 7 — At Pahrump, Eduardo Martinez was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run and three RBIs to help the Trojans hold off the Warriors.
Joe McCaw went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs for Pahrump, which led 10-2 before Western rallied for five runs in the top of the seventh.
Josh Yocum was 3-for-5 with two RBIs, and Ryan Garbowski went 3-for-5 with a run scored for the Warriors.
Boulder City 6, Spring Valley 1 — At Boulder City, Jack LaMarca and Tanner Howell each homered and drove in three runs to lead the Eagles past the Grizzlies.
LaMarca went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the first inning, and Howell added a three-run shot in the second.
Alex Shelley allowed just one hit in five innings and combined with two relievers on a four-hitter for Boulder City.
Dylan Drachler hit a solo home run in the seventh inning for Spring Valley.
