ROUNDUP: Alexander helps rally Chaparral boys past Desert Pines

Kamron Alexander had 16 points and 15 rebounds Friday to help Chaparral’s boys basketball team overcome a 50-42 third-quarter deficit and post a 64-59 home win over Desert Pines.
Kevin Morgan supplied 20 points and three steals, and Patrick Savoy added 14 points for the Cowboys.
Najee McIver led Desert Pines with 19 points. Julian Jacobs added 15 points, and Thomas Hooper scored 11 for the Jaguars.
Sierra Vista 67, Spring Valley 59 — At Sierra Vista, Sean Williams drained four 3-pointers in the third quarter as the Mountain Lions rallied from a 31-21 halftime deficit to down the Grizzlies.
Williams finished with 27 points, and Nino Flores scored 12 for Sierra Vista.
Rahfe’l King led Spring Valley with 18 points. DeShawn Nowlin had 14 points, and Shannon Nolan scored 11 for the Grizzlies.
Mojave 41, Faith Lutheran 40 — At Mojave, Malik Abbott hit a late 3-pointer, and teammate Marcus Hines made a layup at the buzzer to help the Rattlers edge the Crusaders.
Bryant Lewis scored 16 points to lead Mojave.
D’Khari Hicks led Faith Lutheran with 15 points, and teammate Mitch Fulfer tallied 10 points.
Centennial 55, Cimarron-Memorial 53 — At Cimarron, Marcus Allen had 18 points, and the Bulldogs used a 16-5 third-quarter run to edge the Spartans.
Malcolm Allen added 12 points, and Cody Wilkes scored 10 for Centennial, which rallied from a 36-24 halftime deficit to take a six-point lead with 49 seconds left.
Erik Brewer led Cimarron with 22 points. Deijon Spillers and Arin Henderson added 10 points apiece for the Spartans.
Clark 87, Bonanza 56 — At Bonanza, DeAndre Henderson and Kentrell Washington each scored 15 points to lead the Chargers past the Bengals.
Bryan McGriff added 14 points for Clark, which led 26-11 after one quarter. Sir Washington added 12 points, and Diontae Jones had 10 points for the Chargers.
Rio Justice-Chandler led Bonanza with 11 points.
Cheyenne 59, Arbor View 51 — At Cheyenne, Juwan Washington scored 17 points, and Brian Laws had 13 points and 10 rebounds to help the Desert Shields past the Aggies.
Edward Shaw had 11 points, and Gary Stewart had six points, nine rebounds and four blocks for Cheyenne.
Elijah Hill scored 13 points, and Blake Claxton added 11 points for Arbor View.
Durango 68, Desert Oasis 62 — At Durango, Joe Tuss had 26 points and 10 rebounds, including eight points in the fourth quarter, to lead the Trailblazers past the Diamondbacks.
Tyler Jones had 15 points, and Tyler Watts had 12 points for Durango, which got 10 points from Tre’Vonn Wells.
Anthony Lianzo scored 19 points to pace Desert Oasis. Alex Trillo had 17 points, and Juliano Rosario scored 13 points for the Diamondbacks.
Bishop Gorman 83, Pahrump Valley 41 — At Pahrump, the Gaels placed 11 players in the scoring column in an easy win over the Trojans.
Demetris Morant and Ben Carter each scored 12 points to lead Gorman. Noah Robotham added 11 points, and Obim Okeke scored 10 points for the Gaels.
Billy Pallore scored 12 points, and Bret Kunzi had 10 points for Pahrump.
Palo Verde 80, Shadow Ridge 52 — At Shadow Ridge, Michael Buchanan led six double-figure scorers with 18 points to help the Panthers cruise past the Mustangs.
Nahjee Matlock added 15 points for Palo Verde, which got 10 points apiece from Eris Winder, Darryl Gaynor, Jordyn Martin and Trent Gneiting.
Malcolm Davis led Shadow Ridge with 11 points.
Canyon Springs 65, Sunrise Mountain 41 — At Sunrise Mountain, Ladarrell Mongkholtham led a balanced attack with 12 points, and the Pioneers cruised after taking a 28-13 halftime lead.
Zane Gibbs scored 11 points to lead Sunrise Mountain, and Jovon Kirtley added 10 points for the Miners, who got 17 rebounds from Daquwan Doyle.
Eldorado 77, Rancho 43 — At Rancho, Jayveon Brown scored 24 points, and Da’Quon Thrower added 17 points to lead the Sundevils in a rout of the Rams.
Chris Beverly scored 14 points for Rancho.
Boulder City 71, Tech 35 — At Boulder City, Nate Hafen had 17 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Eagles to a romp of the Roadrunners.
Kaleb Bailey scored 11 of his 14 points in the third quarter for Boulder City, which used a 28-4 run in the third to pull away.
Tyler Walker led Tech with nine points.
Virgin Valley 45, Moapa Valley 24 — At Overton, Tyson Teerlink tallied 16 points, and the Bulldogs outscored the Pirates, 26-13 in the second half.
Landon Willard and Sean McConnell each had six points for Moapa Valley.
The Meadows 69, Lincoln County 15 — At The Meadows, Eric Hirsberg scored 22 points, and the Mustangs bolted to a 49-7 halftime lead en route to an easy win over the Lynx.
Garrett Gosse added 11 points, and Brian Fridman scored 10 for the The Meadows.
Agassi Prep 98, Needles 80 — At Needles, Calif., Kalinn Jackson and DeCari Lide each scored nine of the Stars’ 35 fourth-quarter points as Agassi Prep roared back from a 24-11 first-quarter deficit to top the Mustangs.
Anson Williams had 27 points, and Jackson scored 20 for Agassi Prep. Lide supplied 17 points, and Darryl Green scored 12 for the Stars.
Lewie Larrabee led Needles with 25 points. Aaron Burns added 23 points, and John Ochoa scored 18 for the Mustangs, who got 10 points from Michael Hills.
Mountain View 80, Laughlin 48 — At Mountain View, Matt Larson poured in 28 points as the Saints routed the Cougars.
T.J. Kissinger had 16 points, Trevor Van Kempen scored 15 and Joseph Gueverra 13 for Mountain View.
Colton Hill led Laughlin with 22 points.
Pahranagat Valley 67, Indian Springs 42 — At Alamo, Derek Hansen had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Tyler Higbee had 16 points and seven assists as the Panthers rolled the Thunderbirds.
Chase Hansen added 11 points and nine assists for Pahranagat Valley, which led 32-12 at halftime.
Dominic Morgando paced Indian Springs with 15 points, and Brock Roadhouse scored 12.
