ROUNDUP: Muhammad helps balanced Coronado boys past Liberty

Dominique Muhammad led four double-figure scorers with 14 points Tuesday to help Coronado’s boys basketball team keep its lead in the Southeast League with a 60-45 win at Liberty.

Lamar Walker scored 12 points, and Teyshawn Campbell and Michael Louder each supplied 11 points for Coronado (11-6, 9-1), which has a one-game lead over Foothill and Silverado.

Elijah Graves had 13 points, and Rhandy Tomlinson scored 10 for Liberty.

Silverado 70, Basic 54 — At Silverado, Ruben Jackson had  22 points, five assists and five rebounds as the Skyhawks downed the Wolves.

Justin Johnson added 19 points for Silverado, which got 11 points from John Aman and 10 points from Isaiah Glover.

Jaylen Rose paced Basic with 15 points. Isaiah Villaros added 13 points, and Devante Boyd scored 10 points for the Wolves.

Del Sol 74, Tech 60 — At Tech, Nate Kirschbaum had 22 points as the Dragons downed the  Roadrunners.

Kyle Collins added 15 points, and Chris Marshall had 14 points for Del Sol, which made 21-of-30 free throws.

Josh West led Tech with 25 points, and teammate Tyler Walker added 15 points.

Needles 79, Calvary Chapel 57 — At Needles, Calif., Aaron Burns had 19 points and 10 rebounds to help the Mustangs defeat the Lions.

John Ochoa added 14 points and six assists, and Michael Hills had 14 points, six rebounds and four assists for Needles.

Drew Hammond paced Calvary Chapel with 17 points, and teammate Bobby Buist scored 15.

Lake Mead 71, Laughlin 35 — At Laughlin, Justin Yamzon poured in 33 points, leading the Eagles to a rout of the Cougars.

Brendan LeBaron added 10 points for Lake Mead, which led 35-18 at halftime and held Laughlin to single digits in three quarters.

Colton Hill scored 17 points for Laughlin.

The Meadows 75, Mountain View 54 — At The Meadows, Garrett Gosse scored 29 points, and teammate Max Newman added 18 points to help lead the Mustangs to a rout of the Saints.

Joseph Guevarra had 20 points to pace Mountain View, which got 10 points from Matt Larson.

Indian Springs 57, Adelson School 52 — At Adelson School, Dominic Morgando scored 25 points to help the Thunderbirds hold off the Lions.

Brock Roadhouse added 11 points for Indian Springs, which used a 21-15 fourth quarter spurt to seal the win.

Robert Blackwell had 18 points to lead Adelson School, which got 14 points from Jalen Cannon.
