Top defensive players: LB Tyler Stevens (Sr.); DL Matt Cataldi (Sr.)

Outlook: The Grizzlies don’t return much experience, but Teal said the team has a young, talented roster.
Spring Valley struggled to move the ball last season, as the Grizzlies managed just 1,512 total yards and averaged only 12.9 points in contested games.
The Grizzlies haven’t made the playoffs since 2010, but used to be a perennial postseason participant. Spring Valley made six straight playoff appearances from 2005-2010, and Teal hopes his team will be in the hunt for a postseason berth this year.
