Avery’s return seals win for Lynx

Lincoln County's Preston Avery returned an interception 68 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter to help seal a 22-12 road win over Milford (Utah) on Friday.

Lincoln County’s defense snatched four interceptions from the Cowboys.

Cole McClain passed for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and carried 10 times for 96 yards for the Lynx (1-1).

He hit Ryan Lloyd with a 70-yard scoring strike, and threw to Avery for a 50-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
