Bickart, Marrs lead Mustangs to first win

Bryson Bickart and Chase Marrs each rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown as The Meadows (1-6, 1-5 Division III Southern) defeated visiting White Pine (2-4, 1-4), 35-12 on Friday.

The Meadows’ Chisup Kim caught an 8-yard TD pass from Jacob Gleason and ran for a 1-yard score to help the Mustangs build an 18-6 halftime lead.

Marrs and Bickart scored on runs of 1 and 42 yards, respectively, in the second half.

The Meadows’ Robert List made three catches for 38 yards and returned a fumble 1 yard for a TD.

Freshman kicker Tommy Halkyard added a 34-yard field goal.

White Pine quarterback Aryton Almberg had a 2-yard TD run and threw a 42-yard TD pass to Ben Miller.
