White Pine’s football team scored 28 points in the first quarter Friday on its way to a 48-6 rout of visiting Lincoln County.

The Bobcats (1-3, 1-1 2A Southern) had eight ball carriers combine to rush for 263 yards and four touchdowns.

Tyler Watts had touchdown runs of 1, 4 and 8 yards for White Pine. Devante Valencia added 76 yards on 10 carries, and Levi Valdez rushed four times for 63 yards and a score. Valencia also scored on a 65-yard punt return in the first quarter.

Lincoln County fell to 1-3, 0-2.
