Broady, Mountain Lions dominate Miners

Sierra Vista had more than 400 total yards en route to a 57-24 road win over Sunrise Mountain on Friday.

Led by Maliek Broady’s 127 rushing yards and touchdown, Sierra Vista scored three times in the first quarter and never looked back.

The Mountain Lions’ offense was bolstered by touchdown runs from Daniel Godfrey, Andrew Peterson, Quinton Stubbs, Randal Grimes and Brandon Cruz. Broady also ran back an interception 30 yards early in the third quarter.

Sunrise Mountain scored on two short TD passes in the closing minutes.
