Davis, Jaguars rally to top Bulldogs

Desert Pines' Malik Davis rushed for 110 yards and scored three touchdowns Friday to lead the Jaguars (4-3, 2-1 I-A Sunrise) to a 41-28 home victory over Virgin Valley (4-3, 1-2).

Trailing 15-14 in the third quarter, Desert Pines scored four consecutive touchdowns, three by Davis, including a 77-yard punt return.

Travis Nofoa was 6 of 10 passing for 107 yards and a TD, and Tim Hough led the Jaguars with three catches for 57 yards and a score.

For Virgin Valley, Cristian Aguirre was 7 of 19 for 157 yards and two TDs. Tyson Teerlink made five catches for 86 yards.
