Doxtator’s five TD passes help Falcons top Eldorado

Drew Doxtator passed for 322 yards and five touchdowns Thursday to lead Foothill's football team to a 42-18 win at Eldorado.

Four of those touchdown strikes went to wide receiver David Persi for 46, 60, 61, and 29 yards. Persi finished with six receptions for 263 yards. Doxtator’s other touchdown pass went for 50 yards to Ian Ellis.

Bobby Merritt returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown for the Falcons (5-3, 3-1 Southeast).

Eldorado (1-7, 0-4) quarterback Matthew VanOrden passed for 313 yards and two scores, including a 58-yard touchdown pass to Joshua Brown in the third quarter.
